The game of snap has been enhanced in the app Tens Frame Snap. Ten frames and subitising dots are used to assist students to develop mathematical understanding and fluency of pairs, addition, and subtraction skills. The game allows for one and two player settings as well as selection of appropriate number range. The built in feedback guides players throughout the game.
Reflection apps discussed included Educreations, Explain Everything, Show Me, Skitch, etc. to encourage students to reflect on their learning. Use of a screen shot, annotation and/or audio recording consolidates the student's learning.

Friends of Ten also uses the ten frame structure to help students see patterns in number arrangements. The multiple functions within the app allow for it's use as a teaching tool and development of fluency (practise) of mathematical skills and strategies.
