BTW if anyone is interested in seeing what we are doing with iPads in classrooms in Brisbane (more specifically Bracken Ridge) at Brisbane North Institute of TAFE (BNIT) with adult literacy and numeracy students we would be happy to share.See More

- What is your interest in mobile learning?
- My students are young adults/ adults who have become disengaged from education. I noticed how at ease they are with smart phones and the amount of time they spend using them. Since engagement is a real issue, we figure using devices and interfaces they love and are used to could be the way to engage them in the literacy and numeracy they try so hard to avoid. We have a trial commencing in Jan 2011 with 25 ipads. Can't wait to see how they respond to them!
