Wow! What an amazing two days of learning! Thankyou everyone who attended for the interest, participation and passion you brought with you, which combined to create a wonderful environment of curiosity and engagement!
A big thanks, also, to the LIC staff, the University, and our supporters such as ITMadeSimple for their dedication and effort. Without you guys, this would never have happened.
If you weren't able to attend, check out todaysmeet.com/slide2learn and search twitter for #slide2learn to follow the blistering backchannel conversations from April's event.
You can also access the ustream recording of Susan Wells and Lynne Goodhand's session: "3 Years in with 1:1 iPod touches – How Do We Motivate Today’s Learners?" here.

In 2010, 110 teachers attended a unique mobile learning event, organised by teachers for teachers. With a focus on practical classroom use of the iPod touch, it allowed attendees to focus on one topic and experience it in depth.
In 2011, this same event will be held April 18-19 on Queensland's Sunshine Coast at the ICT Learning Innovation Centre, Sunshine Coast University, Sippy Downs. Not only will it feature beginner and advanced sessions on the iPod touch, but also have a special focus on the iPad, with a 'How-to' Genius Bar, speakers (including many current classroom teachers) from across Australia, talks from leading international practitioners, and many give-aways (including from Macworld Australia and ITmadeSimple) and opportunities to network with other educators engaging with mobile devices. A number of iPod touches and iPads will be available for loan at the event for those who don't have their own to bring.
