Slide to Learn

Nigel Paine, strategic advisor on leadership and talent development, is a profound thinker and great communicator. He has written a book called "New Leadership for Innovative Organisations" to supplement the "Leading Innovation" workshops across Australia, with John Mitchell.
Nigel spoke to an enthusiastic group of educators and innovators on the Australia Series, which was recorded and is available at Learn Central. Nigel believes that to enable innovation in the workplace, employees need ownership, opportunities for decision-making and the ability to customise their environment, so they feel comfortable.
He has written several posts about his impression of the iPad, including what happened when he gave it to an 18-month -old girl. Worth a read.

Best of luck with your new business Megan - your knowledge and enthusiasm will take you a long way! Nigel Paine was very interesting - he worked with BBC for many years, as well as providing services to Apple.
Thanks for sharing this Britt!
Thx for this Britt. Nigel's mention of the ease of use is the iPad's success and will win people over quickly. The technology becomes transparent at last. We can focus on the learning.
