Can anyone recommend apps for iPod or iPad to aid in the learning of Italian. I am thinking of purchasing some iPads for my classes in 2012

Hi Piña,

Not sure what level you are teaching but all the apps with voice recording are great for learning a second language. Students can record their speaking and then listen. Even by using apps like book creator, explain everything, sonic pics, type draw, dropvox, talking Tom etc, sock puppets, audioboo the Speaking and listening can be used. There are specific apps for learning Italian like learn Italian Quick, play and Learn Italian HD, language Perfect, Learn Italian Vocab, Speak easy Italian, thebItalian Translator Pro, Hello Hello kids Lang, the Italian Talking Jungle.

Hope some of those are useful,

cheers from Jenny
